The NEET which stands for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is an entrance exam in India through which the students can get the admission for the first year of undergraduate medical courses (MBBS), Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), and other courses in many government and private institutions all over the country.   2. Exam Pattern:
    • Mode of Exam: In terms of the NEET 2024 examination, it will be conducted in pen and paper mode.
    • Duration: The final exam shall be a 3 hours exam.
    • Subjects: This will be in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) disciplines.
    • Questions: The total number of questions in the exam will be 200 and each subject will have 50 questions from the multiple-choice section. That is the usual number of questions that candidates have to answer.
    • Marking Scheme: Correct answers to this part of the test will be given 4 marks each while wrong answers will reduce the total score by one mark each.
  3. Syllabus:
    • It is very important to note that the syllabus to NEET is constructed from the NCERT general syllabus for the classes 11\& 12. It entails issues in Physics, Chemistry, as well as Biology.
  4. Application Process:
    • For NEET 2024, the application form will be available on the official NTA website as a web-based application. The application form in turn should be filled by the candidate and the necessary documents be uploaded and the application fee be paid.
